That’s a Wrap/Last Call

***TIME SENSITIVE/IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT OUR WAITING LIST IN THIS POST***

***PLEASE READ***

Well guys and gals, I can’t believe I’m saying this but we are officially retiring our breeding program after the last of our planned litters in 2026. We have gone back and forth on whether or not we will be returning to breeding after our big babies retirements. Ultimately, Ive decided that this will be the end. I have loved this journey more than anyone will ever know. I’ve found SO much love in my newfoundlands and how incredible is it, to know that I’ve been able to bring that love to other families is the biggest blessing and accomplishment. I don’t know how we will manage with no grandpups running around. As hard as it is, it’s so much love and fun and we’re going to miss it. No more puppy pandemonium and that’s bittersweet. My big ole bears have been absolutely amazing on this journey but, now they deserve a real retirement. Time to be pampered, hang out with family, camp out on the bed or up in my chair that we don’t fit in together but somehow they always find room. And that’s just fine with me. So, this is the official announcement of our retirement. This is NOT the end of B’sharri’s Breeze Newfoundlands. I have dedicated half my life to the study and progression of this breed. This is my calling and greatest passion. I can’t see my life without a Newfoundland in it, ever. So I will still be here for content, Newfie news, helpful blogs and videos. All things Newfie related. I will just no longer be breeding. At least that’s how I feel for now. I guess “never say never”. For now, these are the upcoming and planned litters of 2026.

Violette and Buckley due Jan 3, 2026

Grace and Bash’r due Jan 11, 2026 (big retirement for the King of B’sharri and

Deveana and Buckley summer of 2026 (dates TBD as we get closer to the time)

Willow and Buckley summer of 2026 (dates TBD as we get closer to the time)

Violette and Buckley will be retiring with their last litter in the winter of 26/27 (most likely around the same time as now).

***PSA-If you’ve been putting off joining the waiting list, now is the time to take that step. There are only a few spots left on our current waiting lists. I only accept a certain amount of people on the each litter list. Once that number is reached for all of our litters, we close the waiting list. Also, please understand that if you have never owned a Newfoundland before, one of our requirements is that you watch the video on the “puppy process” page. If you can’t find the time to watch that video, I don’t have the time to discuss our pups with you. If you’ve never owned a Newfoundland before and you think because you’ve googled them and “done the research” that you know everything there is to know about them and are now ready so you don’t need to watch the video, I don’t have time to speak with you. I don’t mean this to be rude at all. I love my dogs and I love every single one of their babies. Newfie life isn’t for everyone. My job is to make sure I place my grand pups in their FOREVER homes. Giving a pup to someone that I know in my gut isn’t ready for that life, is putting their stability and happiness at risk. I am not willing to do that. I don’t need to know your personal information. I don’t believe in that. People move, change jobs, all kinds of big things happen and most of the time they’re unexpected, so for me to get up in your personal business doesn’t insure that my pup will be taken care of their whole life. However, if I make sure you are compatible with the Newfie lifestyle, and you’re looking for the love and connection that Newfies bring and not just that “giant bear looking dog” that increases the chances of you and your newf having an unbreakable bond. That’s my goal.

And then, that’s it folks! For now, let’s enjoy all of the beautiful, fluffy cubs that will be coming soon.

Last but certainly not least, a HUGE thank you to ALL of my puppy families. I love you all and am so glad you trusted me with your Newfies. Thank you for not only loving my grandpups but also for falling in love with their moms and dads and following us on this amazingly beautiful journey. This is not the end by any means. We will still be posting content of the big bears and we have videos and pics of your pups that I’m sure we will throwback to often. Thank you for helping me build this Newfie kingdom to be what it is. We are forever grateful. And To our incredible Dr Pol and his lovely wife Diane, thank you for choosing us. Thank you for being so gracious with your time and input when it was needed. It’s been pretty cool having a tv star from our Willow and Buckley!

That’s a wrap on 2025!

Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!
Happy New Year!

From B’sharri’s Breeze Newfoundlands to you.
