With pleasure, I bring you the bears of B’sharri’s Breeze Newfies!

Breezy aka Big Mama

Breezy is my first female Newfy. I instantly fell in love with her and knew she had to be mine. After meeting the breeders, reviewing her parents vet records and DNA profiles, Breezy was brought home and she’s owned my heart ever since. She weighs in at 163lbs so she is a big girl…heaviest of all the bears but the most gentle in nature. She’s got sass and is very very spoiled but she is a big, lazy lover! She knows she’s the boss around here but she never has to assert that. They all just know…”they” meaning humans and pets. She is afraid of everything outside of her house and yard so she’s a homebody but that’s just fine with her. More time to spend with the fam. She’s a talker, too. Good lord, this dog will let you know if she doesn't like something or if you just aren’t giving her enough attention. I love her personality

Bash’r aka Daddy

Once Breezy was here, I knew I wanted to make this my new way of living. I had given into the obsession of Newfoundlands. I figured the only way to make this happen was to argue “but if I get a boy, we can breed and actually turn this into a side income…” and with that (wether they liked it or not) I acquired my first breeding male, Bash’r (pronounced Basher). At the time, he was this tiny little fluff ball of black and white cuteness. That tiny little fluff ball grew into our mini horse! The average height of an adult male Newfoundland is 27-29 inches and Bash’r is 33. He is a tall boy! He’s our ‘lapdog’ with no clue of his actual size. He loves absolutely everyone and everything and has such a happy spirit about him. He has made the best ‘daddy’! He is very protective and active with his pups. It’s a joy to see.

Grace aka Lil’ Mama

Grace was actually bought for my mother who wanted a Newfy of her own, however, she was a very hyper pup and was a nipper. I brought her to my home with intentions of training and was going to give her back to my mom but she grew attached to us here and we thought it best she stay. It worked out perfectly. Grace is the sweetest of our babies. She just has such a gentle spirit. She just wants love from everyone. She will come up, sit down and put both front paws slightly raised which is her asking for lovin’s. Not only was she an amazing and effortless first time mama, she also helped Breezy with her ginormous litter as well. Most of the time you will find Grace with a ball in her mouth. She is the only one that actually plays fetch and brings it back every time. The others sometimes won’t even make it all the way to the thrown ball before flopping down like, “Nah…Grace can get it”.

Buckley aka Baby Bear

With 3 litters under my belt, I became quite engulfed in the Newfy world. Around the same time I had my last litter, a new friend I had met in a facebook newly group had a litter as well. I have always been partial to the brown color and was pretty disappointed when none of our litters produced any pups. It just so happened this new friend had a beautiful brown male available and once I saw pictures of him as well as his siblings and parents, I just knew! Enter the final addition to B’sharri’s Breeze, Buckley. Buckley wont be having any pups til next year, but we cant wait for it! This baby has the soul of an old Newf. He is so big he just flops everywhere. He weighed in at a whopping 101lbs on his 6 month checkup and thats the biggest 6 month old I’ve ever had. He’s quite the chunker. We just got his DNA panel done and its come back clear with zero genetic predispositions, just like the rest. He loves being loved and giving love. He’s so lovable even Blue loves him and Blue has only ever loved Breezy and that is it. He’s so gentle in nature, not like Bash’r and Grace and Breezy, who could all hold champion titles in doggy WWE.
